What the rule saysVAT on goods sold directly to UK customers at £135 or under is still collected from the seller under the current low-value VAT rule. The £135 customs-duty relief is still available. On 13 July 2026 the UK government said that relief will be removed, and the new customs arrangements will start by October 2028 at the latest. An earlier note said March 2029. The detailed duty treatment is still being set.
